Tampa, Florida


In today's Retirement Planning we are going to look at Tampa, Florida.

Tampa is located in west central Florida, on the coast. I must confess that I like warm weather so Tampa is a city that certainly meets my personal requirements as far as weather. Tampa has plenty of opportunities for recreation. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers of the NFL, major league baseball's Tampa Bay Devil Rays and the NHL's Tampa Bay Lightning are the professional sports teams in town. You also have museums, restaurants and my personal favorite...many golf courses.

Tampa is a city of about 303,000 people. Tampa has a tropical climate with many of my favorite trees (Palm Trees). Tampa averages about 45" of rain per year. The wettest months are June (5.5"), July (6.5"), August (7.6") and September (6.5").

Middletown, Delaware


In today's Retirement Planning we are looking at Middletown, Delaware.

First of all it is one of the top 5 tax friendly states in the United States. Another advantage is the fact that it is conveniently located near many historic sites. You can easily take a weekend trip to New York City; Washington D.C.; Gettysburg, PA; or Jamestown, VA as each location is less than 5 hours away. that's just naming a few of the locations that you could visit.
